What do we do? Provide our local community regular occasions year round to come together and listen to professional, high-quality performances of classical music in a relaxed atmosphere. (Might experiment with jazz later on.)

 

Why classical music? While all genres – pop, jazz, folk - have their own roles to play in our lives, we believe that classical music nourishes our souls in a way no other musical genre does and contributes greatly to our well-being.

 

Who will enjoy these concerts? Everyone! :)

 

The evening concerts are informal and friendly, slightly more traditional occasions. Seasoned connoisseurs will enjoy finding first-rate musicianship on their doorsteps, those for whom concerts are also social occasions can meet people and sip a drink while listening, and those who are new to concerts will appreciate the laid-back vibe. The music lasts for about an hour.

 

For families with school-aged children we are offering hour-long family concerts in the afternoon with lots of chatting and explaning.

Where can you find us? At the moment at St Michael’s Community Centre in the White Hart Lane area of Barnes, a warm, welcoming venue, perfect for the atmosphere we want to create. (We are searching for similar places in other areas!)
